Epaulets or fallen angel wings, these scalemail armor pieces are eye catching and dramatic. Black anodized aluminum scales are knitted in as I create the gauntlets. They are permenantly attached with two loops of yarn for each scale to keep them form flopping. The knitted base allows these epaulets to drape against the body with complete flexibility. These epaulets measure just over 8" wide and about 5" from point to flat. The point is slight blunted for more comfortable wearing. These are meant to be sewn onto a jacket or shirt and do not have a backing other than the knitted base. Need a different color? Want a knitted in strap to attach them with?
